Our story

A dedicated servant, Navy veteran and advocate for families

Grace & Mercy Funeral Service, P.C. was founded on a decade of clinical expertise and the discipline of a U.S. Navy veteran.

Malisha Porter founded Grace & Mercy with a single mission: to bring authentic compassion, personal care and dignity back to the funeral profession. Combining more than ten years of healthcare experience, naval discipline and licensure in both Illinois and Indiana, Malisha personally sits with every family to make sure their wishes are honored with gentle precision, without pressure and without unexpected costs.

“Let all that you do be done in love.”1 Corinthians 16:14, our guiding verse
